The Government is introducing new funding for eligible 2 year olds from April 2024, and funding for eligible 9-23 month olds from September 2025.
Children become eligible for age-specific funding in the term following their relevant birthday (or month, in the case of 9 month olds). Their birthday must be before 31st March for funding from Summer Term (April), 31st August for Autumn Term (September) & 31st December for Spring Term (January).
