Educated Educators
A unique learning programme
Family partnership
Starting school is a significant milestone in your child’s life. At N Family Club, we’re here to make sure both you and your child feel supported and ready for this next step.
Our mission is to prepare your child for life in an ever-changing world. Our inspiring pre-school environments and unique learning programme invite endless opportunities for learning, with educated educators supporting your family in school-readiness every step of the way.
“Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today” - Malcolm X
Our broad and engaging preschool curriculum ensures that your child has the opportunity to develop essential school-ready skills, fostering a strong foundation for their next steps at school. Every term at N Family Club, we cover topics which relate to our four N Curriculum pillars – Holistic Health, Self Expression, Global Responsibility, and Inventive Ideas. Within these, we cover the core areas of the EYFS framework:

Our Inventive Ideas pillar is designed to support your child’s cognitive development and establish critical thinking and problem-solving abilities through activities such as counting, sorting, and recognising shapes, alongside everyday experiences that incorporate maths and science in a fun and engaging way.

Our phonics curriculum supports early literacy skills by teaching your child how to decode words, write simple sentences through recognising letters, understand sounds, and begin to form words. This lays the foundation for language skills, improves vocabulary and leads to better comprehension.

Through the nationally respected Ladybird reading scheme, your child will explore a diverse range of age-appropriate books, build strong reading skills and foster a love for reading. To make reading a shared experience between preschool and home, educators will use an N Reading Log to keep you informed with book choices, important updates and performance-based notes.
The preschool curriculum is complemented by our ‘N School Ready Skills’ – a year-long programme in your child’s final year with us, focussing on five key areas that contribute to academic readiness:

Focus & concentration
Helping children to sustain attention, build their ability to focus, and concentrate on group tasks.

We know that starting school is about much more than academics. Your child’s emotional happiness and resilience are at the heart of everything that we do. In their final year with us, to best prepare them for ‘big school’, we invest time in exploring feelings and helping them to navigate the process of leaving nursery behind and starting school with their peers.
Alongside this, we also help your child develop independent skills that are crucial for their transition to school, and help them adjust to working in larger groups, similar to what they will experience in Reception or pre-prep.
“Children thrive best when their nursery and family work together in partnership”

Children usually transition to the preschool room around the age of three, when they are developmentally ready. Occasionally, younger children may move up if it suits their needs. Our bespoke curriculum is tailored to each child, ensuring their learning and next steps are supported in every room. The School Ready programme begins in the preschool room as children turn three.
