Why N Leyton?

We’re so excited to bring our very special brand of early years education to The Bell Centre in Leyton. Having undergone a major renovation, our new Leyton nursery includes spacious family rooms (filled with natural light and fresh filtered air!); all of which have direct access to our courtyard garden.

To ensure that all children develop a love of learning in the great outdoors, the garden also contains a natural forest area – perfect for lively forest school sessions, which are a core part of our N curriculum.

Inside, the nursery contains a specialist art & cooking room, plus a parent area and breakfast bar to ensure that everyone’s day gets off to the right start! We also welcome all of our parents to join us online for our monthly parenting talks via our Family Club.

Open Longer

Our standard day is 8am – 6pm, with an option to extend this by an hour to ensure flexibility for our families.

Rethinking Early Years Education

Here at N, we’re on a mission to Rethink Early Years, offering a fresh educational outlook to prepare children for life in the modern world. Working with leading early years experts, we’ve blended our own unique curriculum, taking influence from a variety of learning philosophies including Reggio Emilia, Bruner, Forest School and Montessori. We were recently named the UK’s highest quality nursery group and we believe that our bespoke approach, combined with the learning outlined by the EYFS, supports all of our children to play and explore, be active learners and critical thinkers.

Our bespoke curriculum is split into four key pillars of learning:

Holistic health

Self expression

Global responsibility

Inventive ideas

The N Day

Drop off

We recognise that mornings can be a challenge, and we’re committed to doing everything we can to ensure a positive and warm start to the day.

Child-led play

Children are able to freely play with our many resources including our art studio, dress-up stations and the
N library.

Mealtimes

All N meals are prepared from scratch by our in-house chefs. We have family mealtimes where the children eat as a group with their key educators.

Educator-led learning

Every day our educators will lead a small group or individual sessions covering a wide range of topics, including yoga and cooking.

Outdoor learning

Our gardens provide the perfect backdrop for physical activities such as climbing, ball games and obstacle courses, as well as Forest School-inspired learning, planting and water play.

Sleep and rest

Our nursery rooms are designed to convert into cosy sleeping spaces, while children who no longer require a sleep can still relax in our designed ‘hygge’ corners.

Pick up

At home time, parents are encouraged to come in and chat with the educators and hear all about their child’s day and accomplishments.

Menu

We’ve worked with the former Head of Nutrition at Jamie Oliver, Laura Matthews, to make sure that we deliver a balanced menu that supports every child’s developmental needs. Our chefs prepare fresh meals in our cafe kitchen, everyday.

The N Leyton Management Team

Dominic

Front of House Manager

Dominic spent the last decade in diverse educational settings. He graduated with a BA in Education and enjoyed 7 years working in a special educational needs school, fostering a passion for speech and language therapy. After that, he delved into recruitment and HR, where he continued to work alongside individuals requiring SEN support. Outside work, Dom enjoys traveling around the UK and walking his dogs.

Tulay

Nursery Manager

With over a decade in Early Years education, Tulay is all about nurturing holistic child development. She holds a BA in Education, an Early Years degree, and a Masters in Education. Although born in the UK, English is Tulay's second language, learned while attending nursery, which drives a strong advocacy and sparks a passion for supporting children with English as an Additional Language (EAL). Outside work she enjoys cooking, getting lost in books, swimming, and has recently taken up tennis.
