Why N Twickenham West?

Our first Twickenham nursery opened back in 2020, and we’re thrilled to now be opening a second nursery right here in Twickenham West! A sensitive restoration of an impressive period property, the nursery is filled with character while equally purpose-built to support every element of our early years curriculum.

To ensure that all children develop a love of learning in the great outdoors, the nursery features a large garden – perfect for our Forest School-inspired sessions, which form a core part of our N curriculum.

There is also an onsite kitchen, where our nutritionist-designed menu is freshly prepared by our chefs, every day. For parents, there is a dedicated parent area and breakfast bar to make sure that your day gets off to the right start! All families also automatically gain membership to Family Club – our monthly parenting talks via our Family Club.

Open Longer

Our standard day is 8am – 6pm, with an option to extend this by half an hour to ensure flexibility for our families.

Rethinking Early Years Education

Here at N, we’re on a mission to Rethink Early Years, offering a fresh educational outlook to prepare children for life in the modern world. Working with leading early years experts, we’ve blended our own unique curriculum, taking influence from a variety of learning philosophies including Reggio Emilia, Bruner, Forest School and Montessori. We were recently named the UK’s highest quality nursery group and we believe that our bespoke approach, combined with the learning outlined by the EYFS, supports all of our children to play and explore, be active learners and critical thinkers.

Our bespoke curriculum is split into four key pillars of learning:

Holistic health

Self expression

Global responsibility

Inventive ideas

The N Day

Drop off

We recognise that mornings can be a challenge, and we’re committed to doing everything we can to ensure a positive and warm start to the day.

Child-led play

Children are able to freely play with our many resources including our art studio, dress-up stations and the
N library.

Mealtimes

All N meals are prepared from scratch by our in-house chefs. We have family mealtimes where the children eat as a group with their key educators.

Educator-led learning

Every day our educators will lead a small group or individual sessions covering a wide range of topics, including yoga and cooking.

Outdoor learning

Our gardens provide the perfect backdrop for physical activities such as climbing, ball games and obstacle courses, as well as Forest School-inspired learning, planting and water play.

Sleep and rest

Our nursery rooms are designed to convert into cosy sleeping spaces, while children who no longer require a sleep can still relax in our designed ‘hygge’ corners.

Pick up

At home time, parents are encouraged to come in and chat with the educators and hear all about their child’s day and accomplishments.

Menu

Working with certified nutritionists, our chefs design seasonal, balanced menus that support every child’s developmental needs. Our chefs prepare fresh meals in our cafe kitchen, every day.
