What is the settling in process?

It begins with a virtual ‘meet the family’ session, where you’ll meet your child’s Key Person and they can learn everything about you and your child – particularly the things that might enable them to settle quickly into nursery! It’s also a chance for you to get to know them ahead of starting with us.

Beyond that, you will have three settles at the nursery. The first session is 1 hour and you’ll attend with your child to settle them into the nursery environment. The second is 1.5 hours and you’ll be able to leave your child in a playroom with their Key Person. The final settle is 2 hours and over a mealtime, without you there.
