Why N Chertsey?

We’re committed to offering you a nursery experience like no other; and with N Chertsey, we’ve gone all out. A sensitive restoration of an impressive period property, our Chertsey nursery is filled with character while equally purpose-built to support every element of our early years curriculum. Our large playrooms are filled with natural light and there’s a specialist art and cooking room for the children to explore. Outside, the beautiful large garden comes complete with a messy play area, sandpit and mud kitchen.

Rethinking Early Years Education

Here at N, we’re on a mission to Rethink Early Years, offering a fresh educational outlook to prepare children for life in the modern world. Working with leading early years experts, we’ve blended our own unique curriculum, taking influence from a variety of learning philosophies including Reggio Emilia, Bruner, Forest School and Montessori. We were recently named the UK’s highest quality nursery group and we believe that our bespoke approach, combined with the learning outlined by the EYFS, supports all of our children to play and explore, be active learners and critical thinkers.

Our bespoke curriculum is split into four key pillars of learning:

Holistic health

Self expression

Global responsibility

Inventive ideas

The N Day

Drop off

We recognise that mornings can be a challenge, and we’re committed to doing everything we can to ensure a positive and warm start to the day.

Child-led play

Children are able to freely play with our many resources including our art studio, dress-up stations and the
N library.

Mealtimes

Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Quisque id turpis molestie, scelerisque ex eget, finibus urna. Donec eget turpis est.

Educator-led learning

Every day our educators will lead small group or individual sessions covering a wide range of topics, including yoga and cooking.

Outdoor learning

Our gardens provide the perfect backdrop for physical activities such as climbing, ball games and obstacle courses, as well as Forest School-inspired learning, planting and water play.

Sleep and rest

Our nursery rooms are designed to convert into cosy sleeping spaces, while children who no longer require a sleep can still relax in our designed ‘hygge’ corners.

Pick up

At home time, parents are encouraged to come in and chat with the educators and hear all about their child’s day and accomplishments.

Menu

We’ve worked with the former Head of Nutrition at Jamie Oliver, Laura Matthews, to make sure that we deliver a balanced menu that supports every child’s developmental needs. Our chefs prepare fresh meals in our cafe kitchen, everyday.
