Why N Barnet?
Situated in Constable House, a locally listed red-brick former police station, our nursery is nestled on Bulwer Road. The handy location, just an 8-minute walk from New Barnet station makes drop-offs and pick-ups a breeze!
Eight large playrooms, all carefully designed with plentiful windows for natural light and fresh air, will play host to our N Curriculum. While the atelier is the perfect setting for our range of N Extras and the exploration of self-expression and creativity. Outside, to the rear and side of the nursery, there is a newly developed garden complete with a designated messy play zone and independent baby area for our programme of outdoor learning.
We’re all about making things easier for our families, and the buggy and scooter stores at the front of the nursery mean you can head off hands-free. Even better, our welcoming N café will serve (much-needed!) coffee, tea, and snacks, meaning you’ll be set up for the day in just the right way!

Rethinking Early Years Education
Here at N, we’re on a mission to rethink early years, offering a fresh educational outlook to prepare children for life in the modern world. Working with leading early years experts, we’ve blended our own unique curriculum, taking influence from a variety of learning philosophies including Reggio Emilia and Bruner. We were recently named the UK’s highest quality nursery group and we believe that our bespoke approach, combined with the learning outlined by the EYFS, supports all of our children to play and explore, be active learners and critical thinkers.

Whilst the Government funding is structured for 38 weeks of the year (term time), our places are for 51 weeks of the year and so the funded hours are stretched over the 51 weeks that we’re open. Applied over 51 weeks, the funding equates to 11.18 hours per week. The same principle applies for the 30 hour funding.
