We’re over the moon to be opening our doors in the wonderful community of Leatherhead!
Just a 10-minute walk from the train station, N Leatherhead is a spacious nursery split across two floors with lots of playrooms, and an awe-inspiring atelier for playing host to our N Extras. The nursery has an abundance of outdoor space, zoned into designated areas for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers, a messy play area, and plenty of free space for garden toys and games.
We’re all about making things easier for our families, and our buggy safe-store does just the trick, along with an area for bikes and scooters and plentiful car parking. Even better, our N café will serve (much needed!) coffees and snacks, meaning you’ll be set up for the day in just the right way!

Ioana
Education Manager
Ioana has over 15 years of experience in early childhood education, driven by her passion for creating nurturing environments where children can thrive. She holds certifications in Pediatric First Aid and Safeguarding Level 3, and has been proud to contribute to an Outstanding rating. Ioana loves mentoring her team and fostering a collaborative spirit. Outside of work, she enjoys baking, running cooking classes for children, traveling, and practicing yoga.
Daisy
Front of House Manager
As a mum of two, Daisy knows firsthand the joys (and challenges!) of parenting and the importance of a nurturing, supportive childcare environment. Having been an N Family parent herself, she experienced the exceptional care the N team provides—so much so that she was inspired to join them! With a background in Marketing and PR, Daisy is excited to bring her skills to the role, ensuring every family feels welcomed and supported from the moment they walk through the doors.

Whilst the Government funding is structured for 38 weeks of the year (term time), our places are for 51 weeks of the year and so the funding is 'stretched'. When stretched, 15 funded hours become 11.18 hours per week, and 30 funded hours become 22.35 hours per week.
Additional charges apply only to the portion of your place covered by funded hours, and are reflected in the monthly breakdown above. Any additional private days will be charged at our standard all-inclusive daily rate. Families receiving funding may choose to opt out of additional charges – please speak with your Nursery Manager or our Admissions team for more information.

Please note: a multi-day discount has been applied to all 4 and 5 day places. For funded places, a discount has been applied to the additional charges (age group dependent and excluding 2 day places). Fees are calculated based on the 51 weeks of the year that N is open, averaged into 12 monthly payments. Monthly payments will include bank and public holidays as well as inset days, which are payable in full in spite of closure, as our monthly staffing costs remain the same.

Day Rates
Under 3 years: £95.00 per standard day
3 years +: £85.00 per standard day
Fees include all food, drink, consumables and activities.
Making payments
Fees are due in advance, and we issue invoices mid-month for the following month with Direct Debits taken on the 27th of each month. For Payments via Tax-Free childcare or Childcare Vouchers, fees are due by the last day of the month. Unfortunately there can be no refunds for sickness or holidays. Any fee increases will be communicated 2 months before affecting your invoice and are based on the nursery’s running costs.
Flexibility
You can extend the standard day (8-6pm) by up to an hour each way at the same hourly rate on a pay as you go basis - i.e. £9.50/hr for under 3s or £8.50/hr for 3 years+; equivalent to £2.38/15mins or £2.13/15mins.
Joining fees
To join the waiting list at N, families are required to pay a waiting list registration fee of £250
On accepting a place, this fee will become a non-refundable joining fee, and you’ll be asked to pay a £400 place acceptance fee, which will be deducted from your final invoice.
Funding eligibility deadlines
Families who are eligible for the 30 hours of funding are responsible for applying for a positive determination of eligibility from HMRC - e.g. a valid eligibility code. You must apply for the code before the 30th of the term before in order for the code to be eligible. The term start dates are 1st January, 1st April, and 1st September. The eligibility code must be provided to us before your child's early years funding can be claimed.

What ages does N Leatherhead nursery cater for?
Our nursery provides a nurturing and stimulating environment for children from 3 months through 5 years. We have designed our spaces to cater for the specific developmental stages of each age group, ensuring every child feels supported as they grow and learn with us.
What happens if I need to drop off earlier or pick up later than the standard hours?
We understand that modern life requires flexibility. While our core nursery day is designed to provide a consistent routine for the children, we do offer extended hours to support families. Please speak with our team at N Leatherhead to discuss your specific requirements, as we aim to be as accommodating as possible based on current availability.
What is included in the nursery fees?
Our fees are all-inclusive, providing families with complete peace of mind. This covers our bespoke, progressive education programme and extra-curricular activities, all nutritious meals prepared by our on-site chefs, and high-quality snacks throughout the day. We also provide nappies, wipes, and sun cream, so you have one less thing to think about when you arrive for the day.
How do I join the waiting list, and what does it cost?
To begin your journey with us, please book a tour or a call with our team. This is the best way to see our nursery in action and speak with us about your family's needs. To join our waiting list, families are required to pay a registration fee of £250. Upon accepting a place, this fee becomes a non-refundable joining fee, and you will be asked to pay a £400 place acceptance fee. This acceptance fee will be deducted from your final invoice.
What if I need to change or swap a day in an emergency?
We know that life can be unpredictable, and we always do our best to support our families when schedules shift. In cases of healthcare or childcare emergencies, we can offer up to a maximum of 5 emergency day swaps per year, subject to availability.
Additionally, if you need extra support, you can purchase ad hoc days at the standard daily rate, subject to availability. Please speak to our team at N Leatherhead if you need to discuss these options.
Does N Leatherhead cater to allergies and specific dietary restrictions?
Yes, absolutely. We take a rigorous approach to health and wellbeing. Upon registration, you will provide us with full details regarding your child’s dietary requirements and/or allergies. Our team works closely with you to ensure that every meal provided is safe and appropriate for your child. Our kitchens are managed to the highest standards, and our Educators are fully trained to follow individual health plans for every child in our care.
