Selen has worked in childcare for 15 years and has a degree in early childhood studies. Her passion for working with young children comes from seeing how her mother who was an educator positively impacted young lives. She aspires to be the type of educator who can inspire others too. Selen also loves spending time with her one-year-old daughter… and baking cakes!

Her fluency in the Greek language further enhances her ability to connect with Greek-speaking children and families, promoting inclusivity and cultural understanding.

Please note: a multi-day discount has been applied to all 4 and 5 day places. For funded places, a discount has been applied to the additional charges (age group dependent). Fees are calculated based on the 51 weeks of the year that N is open, averaged into 12 monthly payments. Monthly payments will include bank and public holidays as well as inset days, which are payable in full in spite of closure, as our monthly staffing costs remain the same.

Fees include all food, drink, consumables and activities.
Fees are due in advance, and we issue invoices mid-month for the following month with Direct Debits taken on the 27th of each month. For Payments via Tax-Free childcare or Childcare Vouchers, fees are due by the last day of the month. Unfortunately there can be no refunds for sickness or holidays. Any fee increases will be communicated 2 months before affecting your invoice and are based on the nursery’s running costs.
You can extend the standard day (8-6pm) by up to an hour each way at the same hourly rate on a pay as you go basis - i.e. £13.40/hr for under 3s or £12.35/hr for 3 years+; equivalent to £3.35/15mins or £3.08/15mins.
To join the waiting list at N, families are required to pay a waiting list registration fee of £350.
On accepting a place, this fee will become a non-refundable joining fee, and you’ll be asked to pay a £400 place acceptance fee, which will be deducted from your final invoice.

Families who are eligible for the 30 hours of funding are responsible for applying for a positive determination of eligibility from HMRC - e.g. a valid eligibility code. You must apply for the code before the 30th of the term before in order for the code to be eligible. The term start dates are 1st January, 1st April, and 1st September. The eligibility code must be provided to us before your child's early years funding can be claimed.

N Defoe Road, our Ofsted Outstanding nursery, is a converted church hall with four thoughtfully designed modern classrooms for our preschoolers. It has awe-inspiring facilities, designed to support children as they play, learn and explore. It is committed to serving our older children and providing an exceptional learning environment as they prepare for school. All of our over 3s have the opportunity to engage and gain an understanding of the great outdoors with our Forest School-inspired sessions.



N Church Street is purpose-built for babies and toddlers. The nursery is a home-from-home where our teams create the best possible start in life for our children and their families. The impressive space boasts an amazing rooftop garden which looks out across Stoke Newington, 5 playrooms, an N library and a purpose-built atelier for messy and creative learning.




4 day plans (5% discount) and full time plans (7.5% discount).

We offer a discount if you have two or more siblings in nursery at the same time (7%). The discount is applied to the child with fewer sessions, or to the oldest child if they have an equal number of sessions.

In cases of healthcare or childcare emergencies we can offer up to a maximum of 5 emergency day swaps per year, subject to availability. An agreed emergency day swap is to be used in the same calendar month as the absence. Bank holidays and nursery closures are exempt.

Subject to availability, you can purchase extra ad hoc days at the standard daily rate. Ad hoc days can be booked a maximum of two weeks before the requested date.
