French Toast with Roasted Pear Compote & Creme Fraiche

We love to mix up our breakfast offering here at N! Especially when it’s with a crowd-pleaser like French toast. With seasonal ingredients and warming spices, this dish is a very welcome addition to our autumn menu.

Ingredients:

200g white bread, sliced into strips
1 ripe banana50ml oat milk
50ml plant cream
300g pears, sliced
Cinnamon to taste
Coconut oil
300g creme fraiche

Directions:

Blend bananas, plant cream and oat milk with a little cinnamon.

Soak bread strips in this mixture and gently fry in a non-stick pan.

Roast pears in a little oil and cinnamon in a lined tray until tender.

Serve french toast, pears and creme fraiche separately.
