Situated in an imposing detached Victorian villa on Dunbar Avenue and set back from the main road with original columns and stone lions adorning the entrance, our nursery has plentiful car parking via the carriage driveway and is an 11-minute walk from Elmers End train station – making drop-offs and pick-ups a breeze!
Seven large playrooms across three floors, all featuring natural light via original sash windows and rooflights, can be found off the impressive winding staircase with original stained glass window. While an atelier in the eaves will play host to our range of N Extras. Outside, at the rear of the nursery, there is a spacious enclosed garden complete with a designated messy play zone and independent baby area for our program of outdoor learning – a core part of the N Curriculum.
We’re all about making things easier for our families, and the generous buggy, bike, and scooter stores mean you can head off hands-free. Even better, our welcoming N Café will serve (much-needed!) coffee and snacks, meaning you’ll be set up for the day in just the right way!

Kristina
Nursery Manager
Kristina started her childcare journey in 2008. She has since completed her Foundation degree and worked her way up to a manager role. She is passionate about working with children and providing them with the best early years education. She is a mom to 5-year-old twins, and in her spare time she loves going on trips to the park or seaside, and enjoys baking.
Emma
Education Manager
Emma is a native of London and has been working in the field of childcare for 22 years, specifically with 15 years of experience as a nursery deputy manager. She holds a foundation degree in early years, as well as an NVQ 3 in childcare. In her leisure time, she enjoys going to the theatre, indulging in retail therapy, and listening to live music.
Becky
Front of House Manager
Becky is a passionate ball of energy with a degree in Musical Theatre. She has a wealth of experience working in the hospitality industry and children’s entertainment, as well as charity and corporate events. She loves working with people of all backgrounds and broadening her perspectives. Becky is very family-oriented, loves figure skating and her motto is: it’s nice to be nice.

Whilst the Government funding is structured for 38 weeks of the year (term time), our places are for 51 weeks of the year and so the funding is 'stretched'. When stretched, 15 funded hours become 11.18 hours per week, and 30 funded hours become 22.35 hours per week.
Additional charges apply only to the portion of your place covered by funded hours, and are reflected in the monthly breakdown above. Any additional private days will be charged at our standard all-inclusive daily rate. Families receiving funding may choose to opt out of additional charges – please speak with your Nursery Manager or our Admissions team for more information.

Please note: A multi-day discount has been applied to all 4 and 5 day places. For funded places, a discount has been applied to the additional charges. Fees are calculated based on the 51 weeks of the year that N is open, averaged into 12 monthly payments. Monthly payments will include bank and public holidays as well as inset days, which are payable in full in spite of closure, as our monthly staffing costs remain the same.

Day Rates
Under 3 years: £100.00 per standard day
3 years +: £90.00 per standard day
Fees include all food, drink, consumables and activities.
Making payments
Fees are due in advance, and we issue invoices mid-month for the following month with Direct Debits taken on the 27th of each month. For Payments via Tax-Free childcare or Childcare Vouchers, fees are due by the last day of the month. Unfortunately there can be no refunds for sickness or holidays. Any fee increases will be communicated 2 months before affecting your invoice and are based on the nursery’s running costs.
Flexibility
You can extend the standard day (8-6pm) by up to an hour each way at the same hourly rate on a pay as you go basis - i.e. £10.00/hr for under 3s or £9.00/hr for 3 years+; equivalent to £2.50/15mins or £2.25/15mins.
Joining fees
To join the waiting list at N, families are required to pay a waiting list registration fee of £350.
On accepting a place, this fee will become a non-refundable joining fee, and you’ll be asked to pay a £400 place acceptance fee, which will be deducted from your final invoice.
Funding eligibility deadlines
Families who are eligible for the 30 hours of funding are responsible for applying for a positive determination of eligibility from HMRC - e.g. a valid eligibility code. You must apply for the code before the 30th of the term before in order for the code to be eligible. The term start dates are 1st January, 1st April, and 1st September. The eligibility code must be provided to us before your child's early years funding can be claimed.

How do funded hours work at N Family Club? What is covered and what do I need to pay on top?
We welcome government-funded hours. Our daily rate covers our full curriculum, while any additional costs outside your funded hours are transparently itemised on our website and your monthly invoice. These include additional charges for essential items that are not covered by early years funding, such as all food and drink, formula milk, nappies, wipes, sun cream, emergency medication, and the additional activities provided by N. What fees are required to secure a fully-funded place?
Families are required to pay a deposit of £250. Please contact the Admissions Team or Nursery Manager to confirm this amount. This is fully refundable and will be returned within one month of attendance.
What is the minimum attendance? Do you offer half-day and term-time-only places?
To help children build strong routines, settle smoothly into nursery life, and get the most from our curriculum, we ask for a minimum attendance of three full days per week. We offer full-day sessions rather than half-days or term-time-only places, ensuring consistent group dynamics and dedicated, uninterrupted support from your child's Key Person.
What is included in the nursery fees?
Our monthly fees are fully inclusive, providing complete peace of mind. This covers our bespoke learning programme including N Extras, all freshly prepared meals and snacks , formula for infants, nappies, wipes, and sun cream, as well as various activities. How do I join the waiting list, and what does it cost?
Because we keep our group sizes small to give every child bespoke attention, spaces can fill up quickly. Joining our waiting list holds your place in line for your preferred start date. While exact wait times vary depending on your child's age group and desired attendance days, our team will keep you updated every step of the way.

What are your opening hours and annual closure dates? Can I extend my child's day beyond standard hours?
We are open Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm, with an option to extend by an hour each way depending on availability.
To ensure our Educators have dedicated time for continuous professional development and to give our team a well-deserved rest, we close for all Bank Holidays, and the period between Christmas and New Year. We also close for two inset days a year - these dates are shared with families 6 months in advance.
Do you offer a sibling discount?
Yes, we love welcoming growing families into our community. We offer a 7% sibling discount for older children attending the nursery at the same time as their younger sibling. Please get in touch with our team for the exact details.
