From her early school days to earning her NNEB through college, Sarah has immersed herself in the world of early years, exploring various roles and gaining a wealth of experience. With a deep-rooted love for nurturing young minds and a friendly, approachable nature, Sarah brings both expertise and warmth to her role at N.
Deputy Nursery Manager
With over 17 years of experience in childcare, Amber's passion for nurturing young minds shines through in everything she does. She finds immense joy in supporting children's development and witnessing their progress firsthand. Amber's creativity and enthusiasm fuel engaging activities that go beyond the ordinary! She makes sure to dedicate her time to building strong bonds with both children and parents, taking pride in fostering personal connections and always exceeding expectations with thoughtful touches.

Please note: A multi-day discount has been applied to all 4 and 5 day places. For funded places, a discount has been applied to the additional charges (age group dependent and excluding 2 day places). Fees are calculated based on the 51 weeks of the year that N is open, averaged into 12 monthly payments. Monthly payments will include bank and public holidays as well as inset days, which are payable in full in spite of closure, as our monthly staffing costs remain the same.

3 years +: £90.00 per standard day
Fees include all food, drink, consumables and activities.
Fees are due in advance, and we issue invoices mid-month for the following month with Direct Debits taken on the 27th of each month. For Payments via Tax-Free childcare or Childcare Vouchers; fees are due by the last day of the month. Unfortunately there can be no refunds for sickness or holidays. Any fee increases will be communicated 2 months before affecting your invoice and are based on the nursery’s running costs.
You can extend the standard day (8-6pm) by up to an hour each way at the same hourly rate on a pay as you go basis - i.e. £10.05/hr for under 3s or £9.00/hr for 3 years+; equivalent to £2.51/15mins or £2.25/15mins.

Fabi's interest in creating supportive, people-focused environments began with a placement in an early years nursery. Since then, she has built a career grounded in strong operational oversight, team development, and a deep understanding of every individual's needs. Outside of work, Fabi is a proud mum; her daughter keeps her just as busy as her day job! Her personal and professional worlds are both driven by care, connection, and a commitment to making people feel seen and valued.
To join the waiting list at N, families are required to pay a waiting list registration fee of £250.
On accepting a place, this fee will become a non-refundable joining fee, and you’ll be asked to pay a £400 place acceptance fee, which will be deducted from your final invoice.
We’re over the moon to be opening our doors in the wonderful village of Thorley, Bishop’s Stortford! Set in acres of space and surrounded by woodland, our brand-new nursery is just moments from Thorley Wash Nature Reserve.
Set in a barn conversion, our spacious nursery forms an H-shape with five playrooms and is flooded with natural light. The courtyard garden, featuring a messy play area, sandpit, and mud kitchen, sets the scene for unleashing creativity. The idyllic countryside spot proves the perfect setting for endless exploration and our forest school-inspired sessions, which form a core part of our N curriculum.
We’re all about making things easier for our families, and the generous car-park and bike store are perfect for those busy morning drop- offs and late-afternoon collections. Even better, our N Café will serve (much-needed!) coffee and treats, meaning you’ll be set up for the day in just the right way!

4 day plans (5% discount) and full time plans (7.5% discount).
We offer a discount if you have two or more siblings in nursery at the same time (7%). The discount is applied to your eldest child's plan.
In cases of healthcare or childcare emergencies we can offer up to a maximum of 5 emergency day swaps per year, subject to availability. An agreed emergency day swap is to be used in the same calendar month as the absence. Bank holidays and nursery closures are exempt.
Subject to availability, you can purchase extra ad hoc days at the standard daily rate. Ad hoc days can be booked a maximum of two weeks before the requested date.
