Nursery Manager
Kelly brings over 26 years of early years experience, including 16 years in management, driven by a deep passion for nurturing children's development. She holds a BA in Early Years, Early Years Practitioner Status (EYP), and a Level 3 in Early Years SENCO, enabling her to create inclusive, high-quality learning environments. Outside work, she enjoys quality time with her daughter, netball, boxing, and exploring new places.
Deputy Manager
Maxine brings over 25 years of childcare experience, deeply passionate about supporting children's growth and nurturing their individuality to build confidence. As a qualified Mental Health First Aider, she is committed to promoting emotional well-being for both children and staff, striving to create peaceful, inclusive environments. Her love for nature and animal welfare often inspires her calm and compassionate approach to her work.

Please note: a multi-day discount has been applied to all 4 and 5 day places. For funded places, a discount has been applied to the additional charges. Fees are calculated based on the 51 weeks of the year that N is open, averaged into 12 monthly payments. Monthly payments will include bank and public holidays as well as inset days, which are payable in full in spite of closure, as our monthly staffing costs remain the same.

3 years +: £105.00 per standard day
Fees include all food, drink, consumables and activities.
Fees are due in advance, and we issue invoices mid-month for the following month with Direct Debits taken on the 27th of each month. For Payments via Tax-Free childcare or Childcare Vouchers; fees are due by the last day of the month. Unfortunately there can be no refunds for sickness or holidays. Any fee increases will be communicated 2 months before affecting your invoice and are based on the nursery’s running costs.
You can extend the standard day (8-6pm) by up to an hour each way at the same hourly rate on a pay as you go basis - i.e. £11.50/hr for under 3s or £10.50/hr for 3 years+; equivalent to £2.87/15mins or £2.62/15mins.

Kat brings over 17 years of customer service and dedication to providing joyful and happy experiences for all. Outside of work, she enjoys being an active member of the local theatre, from greeting audiences to being behind the bar, as well as on or behind the stage.
To join the waiting list at N, families are required to pay a waiting list registration fee of £350.
On accepting a place, this fee will become a non-refundable joining fee, and you’ll be asked to pay a £400 place acceptance fee, which will be deducted from your final invoice.
Situated within the Blackheath conservation area, our nursery is nestled on Blackheath Grove in an imposing and characterful former sorting office – a handy 3-minute walk from the railway station and a stone’s throw from the bustling Montpelier Vale.
Eight large playrooms are spread across two floors, each dedicated to hosting babies, toddlers, and preschoolers for N Curriculum learning. The atelier – our specialised studio for art, cooking and baking – is where our wonderfully messy N Extra activities come to life!
Outside, to the side of the nursery, is a generous garden complete with a baby area, a messy play zone for mud kitchen and Forest School-inspired learning experiences, and a free play area for scooters and tricycles – perfect for unleashing energy and encouraging a love of outdoor play.
We’re all about making things easier for our families, and the indoor buggy, bike and scooter stores mean you can head off hands-free after drop-off. Even better, why not enjoy our welcoming N Café – serving (much-needed!) coffee, tea, and snacks, meaning you’ll be set up for the day in just the right way!

4 day plans (5% discount) and full time plans (7.5% discount).
We offer a discount if you have two or more siblings in nursery at the same time (7%). The discount is applied to your eldest child's plan.
In cases of healthcare or childcare emergencies we can offer up to a maximum of 5 emergency day swaps per year, subject to availability. An agreed emergency day swap is to be used in the same calendar month as the absence. Bank holidays and nursery closures are exempt.
Subject to availability, you can purchase extra ad hoc days at the standard daily rate. Ad hoc days can be booked a maximum of two weeks before the requested date.
