Nursery Manager
Clare has been in early years education for over 20 years, having managed 2 university nurseries and maintaining their Ofsted Outstanding status throughout her time there. She wants to ensure that N Cambridge feels like a home away from home - where families feel supported, welcome and listened to. She’s a mum of 3 children who keep her busy outside of nursery life, and loves to spend time in Cornwall on family holidays.
Deputy Manager
Jenny is a passionate early years education professional with over 20 years of experience. She has worked her way up from Qualified Nursery Practitioner to Deputy Manager over the past 8 years, and has a Foundation Degree in Early Years. In her free time, she enjoys reading, fitness, running, and road cycling.
Front of House Manager
Katie brings five years of valuable nursery education experience, starting as a room manager at the launch of N Cambridge and seamlessly transitioning to a front-of-house role. With a Level 3 SENCo qualification, she not only demonstrates adaptability but also a commitment to fostering an inclusive environment.

Please note: a multi-day discount has been applied to all 4 and 5 day places. For funded places, a discount has been applied to the additional charges (age group dependent and excluding 2 day places). Fees are calculated based on the 51 weeks of the year that N is open, averaged into 12 monthly payments. Monthly payments will include bank and public holidays as well as inset days, which are payable in full in spite of closure, as our monthly staffing costs remain the same.

3 years+: £107.00 per standard day
Fees include all food, drink, consumables and activities.
Fees are due in advance, and we issue invoices mid-month for the following month with Direct Debits taken on the 27th of each month. For Payments via Tax-Free childcare or Childcare Vouchers; fees are due by the last day of the month. Unfortunately there can be no refunds for sickness or holidays. Any fee increases will be communicated 2 months before affecting your invoice and are based on the nursery’s running costs.
You can extend the standard day (8-6pm) by up to an hour each way at the same hourly rate on a pay as you go basis - i.e. £11.25/hr for under 3s or £10.70/hr for 3 years+; equivalent to £2.81/15mins or £2.67/15mins.
To join the waiting list at N, families are required to pay a waiting list registration fee of £250.
On accepting a place, this fee will become a non-refundable joining fee, and you’ll be asked to pay a £400 place acceptance fee, which will be deducted from your first invoice.
We couldn’t be more excited about our N Family Club nursery in central Cambridge, surrounded by parkland and only a six-minute cycle ride to the station. Our purpose-built modern space is filled with natural light and clean air, thanks to our hi-spec air filtration system. The nursery also features a large garden with a sandpit, mud kitchen and water-play area.

4 day plans (5% discount) and full time plans (7.5% discount).
We offer a discount if you have two or more siblings in nursery at the same time (7%). The discount is applied to your eldest child's plan.
In cases of healthcare or childcare emergencies we can offer up to a maximum of 5 emergency day swaps per year, subject to availability. An agreed emergency day swap is to be used in the same calendar month as the absence. Bank holidays and nursery closures are exempt.
Subject to availability, you can purchase extra ad hoc days at the standard daily rate. Ad hoc days can be booked a maximum of two weeks before the requested date.
