Nursery Manager
With over 17 years of experience, Abi has supported children from birth to five years and mentored young adults in her local community. Having progressed from a nursery nurse to a leadership role, she holds a Level 5 in Management and Leadership. Abi is deeply passionate about fostering child development and creating a great workplace. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking and has recently discovered a passion for the gym.
Deputy Nursery Manager
Poppy jumped into the Early Years Sector because she loves a career that’s lively and unpredictable - every day is a new adventure for her! When she’s not sipping pretend cups of tea or giggling at jokes that fly over her head, she’s busy enjoying life with her partner and friends. Whether she’s cooking up delicious dishes, exploring new beaches, or traveling to cool spots, she’s always up for a good time.
Minimum 2 full days including a Monday or Friday. Multi-day discounts have already been applied (see below for details). Funding: Please note, for 2-day plans, your entitlement is capped at 20 hours, in line with your actual attendance. Fees last updated 28/10/2025

Please note: a multi-day discount has been applied to all 4 and 5 day places. For funded places, a discount has been applied to the additional charges (age group dependent and excluding 2 day places). Fees are calculated based on the 51 weeks of the year that N is open, averaged into 12 monthly payments. Monthly payments will include bank and public holidays as well as inset days, which are payable in full in spite of closure, as our monthly staffing costs remain the same.

3 years +: £93.99 per standard day
Fees include all food, drink, consumables and activities.
Fees are due in advance, and we issue invoices mid-month for the following month with Direct Debits taken on the 27th of each month. For Payments via Tax-Free childcare or Childcare Vouchers; fees are due by the last day of the month. Unfortunately there can be no refunds for sickness or holidays. Any fee increases will be communicated 2 months before affecting your invoice and are based on the nursery’s running costs.
You can extend the standard day (8-6pm) by up to an hour each way at the same hourly rate on a pay as you go basis - i.e. £10.35/hr for under 3s or £9.30/hr for 3 years+; equivalent to £2.58/15mins or £2.32/15mins.
Deputy Nursery Manager
With a decade in childcare, Katherine has progressed from an apprentice to a deputy manager. Qualified to work with ages birth to 18, she holds both a Level 3 T.A. and a Level 3 Early Years qualification. Katherine is deeply passionate about supporting children’s development and ensuring they receive the best possible start in life. Outside of work, she enjoys playing electric guitar, reading, and spending quality time with her friends and family.
Assistant Deputy Manager
With over eight years in early years education, Emily has progressed through various roles while achieving her Level 3 and Level 5 Senior Practitioner certifications. She has loved every step of her journey and remains passionate about creating high-quality, fun, and safe environments for both children and her team. Outside of work, Emily enjoys travelling, immersing herself in nature, and spending quality time with her family and her beloved dogs.
To join the waiting list at N, families are required to pay a waiting list registration fee of £250.
On accepting a place, this fee will become a non-refundable joining fee, and you’ll be asked to pay a £400 place acceptance fee, which will be deducted from your final invoice.
At our second location in Tunbridge Wells, our St John’s nursery is split over two floors in an attractive Victorian school building. It features 6 light-filled playrooms, a generous family area and an enclosed private garden. The garden has a dedicated baby space and a messy play area for Forest School-inspired learning. N Tunbridge Wells – St John’s is only a 20-minute walk from Tunbridge Wells train station and a 12-minute walk to our Ofsted Outstanding nursery on Mount Ephraim Road.

4-day plans (5% discount) and full-time plans (7.5% discount).
We offer a discount if you have two or more siblings in nursery at the same time (7%). The discount is applied to your eldest child's plan.
In cases of healthcare or childcare emergencies, we can offer up to a maximum of 5 emergency day swaps per year, subject to availability. An agreed emergency day swap is to be used in the same calendar month as the absence. Bank holidays and nursery closures are exempt.
Subject to availability, you can purchase extra ad hoc days at the standard daily rate. Ad hoc days can be booked a maximum of two weeks before the requested date.
