Welcome to N Family Club – Walthamstow, your neighbourhood nursery. A sensitive restoration of an impressive listed property, the nursery is filled with character while equally purpose-built to support every element of our early years curriculum – including our atelier where children can unleash their creativity.
Outside there’s a large garden space to explore, plus the nursery also houses an onsite kitchen, where our nutritionist-designed menu is freshly prepared by our chefs, every day. It also features a family area and N café, plus secure buggy storage to make those morning drop-offs that little bit easier.

Nursery Manager
Since 2006, Maddiy has combined her NVQ Level 3 in childcare with a degree in business management. Dedicated to bringing awe and wonder into children's lives, she is particularly passionate about community engagement. Maddiy loves taking children outdoors, helping them explore and understand their local environment to build a strong sense of belonging.
Hannah Rosie
Education Manager
Having dedicated a decade to early years, Hannah harbors a deep love and passion for assisting children with special additional needs, alongside imparting her expertise to newcomers in the field. During her downtime, she enjoys cooking, going to the cinema, and spending quality time with friends and family.

Whilst the Government funding is structured for 38 weeks of the year (term time), our places are for 51 weeks of the year and so the funding is 'stretched'. When stretched, 15 funded hours become 11.18 hours per week, and 30 funded hours become 22.35 hours per week.
Additional charges apply only to the portion of your place covered by funded hours, and are reflected in the monthly breakdown above. Any additional private days will be charged at our standard all-inclusive daily rate. Families receiving funding may choose to opt out of additional charges – please speak with your Nursery Manager or our Admissions team for more information.

Please note: a multi-day discount has been applied to all 4 and 5 day places. For funded places, a discount has been applied to the additional charges (age group dependent). Fees are calculated based on the 51 weeks of the year that N is open, averaged into 12 monthly payments. Monthly payments will include bank and public holidays as well as inset days, which are payable in full in spite of closure, as our monthly staffing costs remain the same.
Processing Information
Day Rates
Under 3 years: £117.00 per standard day
3 years +: £106.00 per standard day
Fees include all food, drink, consumables and activities.
Making payments
Fees are paid monthly in advance. We send invoices mid-month for the following month, and payments are taken automatically: Direct Debit on the 27th and Tax-Free Childcare on the 25th of each month. Tax-Free Childcare payments must be set up to pay automatically through the N App. From 1st September 2027, a £25 administration fee applies to any payment that isn't made automatically. Childcare vouchers are still accepted and are due by the last day of the month. We're unable to offer refunds for sickness or holidays. We'll always give you two months' notice of any fee change, and changes are based on each nursery's running costs.
Flexibility
You can extend the standard day (8-6pm) by up to an hour each way at the same hourly rate on a pay as you go basis - i.e. £11.70/hr for under 3s or £10.60/hr for 3 years+; equivalent to £2.92/15mins or £2.65/15mins.
Joining fees
To join the waiting list at N, families are required to pay a waiting list registration fee of £350.
On accepting a place, this fee will become a non-refundable joining fee, and you’ll be asked to pay a £400 place acceptance fee, which will be deducted from your final invoice.
Funding eligibility deadlines
Families who are eligible for the 30 hours of funding are responsible for applying for a positive determination of eligibility from HMRC - e.g. a valid eligibility code. You must apply for the code before the 30th of the term before in order for the code to be eligible. The term start dates are 1st January, 1st April, and 1st September. The eligibility code must be provided to us before your child's early years funding can be claimed.
