N Winchester sits proudly in a quiet plot to the north of the city centre, surrounded by natural greenery. Characterised by its four distinct chimneys, our nursery is easily accessed by both a footpath and a quiet road. We’re a convenient 12-minute walk from Winchester train station - helping to make your morning drop-off a breeze!
Seven family rooms span the nursery, each flooded with natural light and specialist equipment to host babies, toddlers, and preschoolers for N curriculum learning. The huge atelier - our dedicated studio for art, cooking, baking and crafts - is where our wonderfully-messy and enriching N Extras come to life.
Outside, our private gardens are thoughtfully designed for babies to explore, while a messy play zone with a mud kitchen and gardening beds are perfect for getting green fingered in, and there’s plenty of space for unleashing energy on bikes and scooters. The abundance of greenery means Forest School-inspired learning and outdoor activities are a mainstay of the experience at N Winchester.
We are dedicated to making life easier for our families - our buggy, bike, and scooter store allows you to head off hands-free, while the generous car park is ideal if you are in a rush. You can also take a moment to enjoy our N Café; with fresh coffee, tea, and snacks, it’s the perfect way to set yourself up for the day!

Please note: A multi-day discount has been applied to 4 and 5 day plans Fees are calculated based on the 51 weeks of the year that N is open, averaged into 12 monthly payments. Monthly payments will include bank and public holidays as well as inset days, which are payable in full in spite of closure, as our monthly staffing costs remain the same.

3 years+: £95.00 per standard day
Fees include all food, drink, consumables and activities.
Fees are due in advance, and we issue invoices mid-month for the following month with Direct Debits taken on the 27th of each month. For Payments via Tax-Free childcare or Childcare Vouchers; fees are due by the last day of the month. Unfortunately there can be no refunds for sickness or holidays. Any fee increases will be communicated 2 months before affecting your invoice and are based on the nursery’s running costs.
You can extend the standard day (8-6pm) by up to an hour each way at the same hourly rate on a pay as you go basis - i.e. £10.50/hr for under 3s or £9.50/hr for 3 years+; equivalent to £2.63/15mins or £2.38/15mins.
To join the waiting list at N, families are required to pay a waiting list registration fee of £250.
On accepting a place, this fee will become a non-refundable joining fee, and you’ll be asked to pay a £400 place acceptance fee, which will be deducted from your final invoice.

4 day plans (5% discount) and full time plans (7.5% discount).
We offer a discount if you have two or more siblings in nursery at the same time (7%). The discount is applied to your eldest child's plan.
In cases of healthcare or childcare emergencies, we can offer up to a maximum of 5 emergency day swaps per year, subject to availability. An agreed emergency day swap is to be used in the same calendar month as the absence. Bank holidays and nursery closures are exempt.
Subject to availability, you can purchase extra ad hoc days at the standard daily rate. Ad hoc days can be booked a maximum of two weeks before the requested date.
