Any soft surface in your home with a slight angle to it - this could be made out of large sofa cushions or a mattress leaning up against the sofa.
This activity encourages your child to use their whole body to stretch and reach the toy, this supports their core strength and balance.
Place some of your child’s favourite toys at the top of the ramp, encouraging them to crawl up to collect them. Depending on their age you may want to support their weight a little as they are climbing up.
Once your child reaches the top of course feel free to then turn the ramp into a slide!
Use language such as ‘up’, ‘down’, ‘high’, ‘low’ and ‘stretch’ to get them familiar with this language.
