Set out a large area (on a rug or soft floor) and lay out the materials (some suggestive, for example placing spoons and beads in a metal bowl to encourage your child to make sounds with the materials) and let your child explore; banging, tapping, mouthing and feeling objects, looking at their reflection and uses their senses!
