Keith Haring’s dog image is sometimes known as the artist’s most famous image.
This area of his art is known for being bold, simple, done in black and white or primary colours – therefore perfect for our youngest children.
You and your child can explore this image, make the sound of the dog and explore what it is called. You can use it in role-play or alongside an animal story.
Or you can adapt it and add lots of colour; you and your child can use different items to colour in the dog, repeating the colours out loud for your child can get familiar to them.
