The word resilience gets bantered around a lot these days. But what is it and why is it so crucial we teach our kids about it. In this talk, Julie and James Brown, who run the Our Mental Health Rocks programme and are authors of Wellbeing for Children: A handbook for parents to support the emotional wellbeing of their children cover a bit of the history, science and practical aspects of resilience and why learning how to bounce back from life’s obstacles is perhaps the most important thing we can teach our children.
