The experience

Washing line pegs and balled up cotton wool (1.5-2 years)

Simply by using washing line pegs, allow your child to try and use them to pick up the balled up cotton wool. Try and make the cotton wool balls a range of different sizes.

Double sided tape on the wall and small household items (0-1.5 years)

Stick one double sided tape horizontally and another vertically onto a piece of paper stuck on the wall or the back of a door (somewhere flat). On each of the tape strips, stick some hand held items on them, this could be something like a small pasta piece or cotton wool . Try and use a few different sizes and try and use a few different colours and textures.

Depending on the age and ability of your child, this will give you a little idea of how high to put the tape.
