Pear compote with greek yoghurt

What you need

12 pears (peeled and chopped)

The juice of 1 lemon

1 tsp maple syrup

1 star anise

1 cinnamon stick


  1. In a saucepan, combine all the ingredients. Bring to a boil and cook over medium heat for 20 to 25 minutes, stirring frequently.
  2. Remove the star anise, cardamom and cinnamon from the compote. Serve warm or cold with Greek yoghurt on the side.
