- A white sheet or a white wall

Watching shadow puppet characters helps your baby/toddler develop visual tracking and communication skills. It boosts their imagination and sensory experience.
The experience
Prepare a cosy area in your house where you can perform a little shadow puppet show for your child. Use your hands to cast shadows on a wall or behind a white sheet. The lighting should be angled directly onto your hands or ‘puppets’. Talk and sing as you move your fingers up and down while your child watches the talking shadow character!
You can add any props you like to your show, use different voices or even add some background music!
