The experience

This is a physical activity that the whole family can play together. To start, one person stands facing a wall; the other people stand around 8 metres behind. The people behind ask, ‘What`s the time Mr Wolf?’ and the person at the wall answers with a random number such as 3. Then, the people count out loud (e.g. 1, 2, 3…) as they step forward. The person at the wall turns around after the people walking forward have taken their steps and are now standing still. This continues until the people are really near to the person at the wall.

To end the round, when the people behind the wolf ask the time, the wolf can say, ‘Dinner time!’ – the aim of the game is for the wolf to turn around and tap one of the players as they try to run back to the start line – if they manage to tap one of the players, it is now that player’s turn to be the wolf. Have fun!
